Legacy Campaign to provide new resources for GHS Choir
Become one of The Key 88 and help us secure the future for our children!
With the slogan Celebrating our traditions creating our future, choir boosters created the Legacy Campaign, a special underwriting effort undertaken to further provide resources for the choir. Objectives for the campaign include the purchase of a new grand piano, upgrading sound equipment, performance props, and other items not funded by the school’s annual budget.
With 50 All-State Choir members, two Texas Music Educators Association performances, and three international tours in the past seven years, the Garland High School choir program has established itself as one of the top choral departments in the state. The Legacy Campaign will assist choir directors Cheryl Wilson and Jeffrey Goolsby in maintaining that excellence.
Over 50 choir alumni and six past directors helped kick-off the Legacy Campaign in March at the Choir Reunion and Showcase event. Also unveiled at that event was the GHS Legacy Piano drawing that will hang in the auditorium foyer to honor donors and supporters of the GHS Choir. To make any sized donation to the Legacy Campaign, or purchase a drawing piano key, please complete the form and payment information below. Thanks for supporting GHS Choir.
